Ray Gelato, with his unstoppable energy, has claimed his title of “Godfather of Swing” since 1988. Singer, saxophonist, songwriter, and versatile band leader, he has played at festivals, clubs, and concerts all over the world. He has performed twice for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, opened for Robbie Williams at the Albert Hall, and played at Paul McCartney's wedding. Ray is very proud to count Van Morrison among his many fans.
The Roaring Cats are one of the most established European bands when it comes to swing and hot jazz. Their repertoire consists of original arrangements of tunes from the best artists of the '30s and '40s. In addition, they present original compositions in style. Fantastic notes for hyperactive swing dancers and sedentary drinkers.
