Fiemme before 1111: the settlement of the Valley from the Mesolithic to the Early Middle Ages.
The exhibition is open until 29/09 (closed on Tuesdays).
The Palace of the Magnificent Community of Fiemme opens its doors to an archaeological exhibition that narrates the events of human settlement in the valley from the Mesolithic to the Middle Ages. The numerous artifacts on display tell a long story not documented by written sources, with the gebardini pacts of 1111 AD being their first decisive act.
The exhibition, set up inside the historic palace, tells the story of the anthropic colonization of the valley thanks to casual finds and archaeological evidence emerged from excavation campaigns conducted over time. A unique exhibition that will bring back for the first time to the Fiemme Valley the archaeological artifacts and information related to the first modifications made by humans to the natural environment.
