Written and performed by Tindaro Granata, I Would Like a Voice is a show in the form of a monologue built through the songs of Mina sung in playback, strongly inspired by the long theatrical journey that the Sicilian author and actor has undertaken at the Piccolo Shakespeare theater within the High Security Prison of Messina with female inmates, as part of the project Theater to Dream. The focus of the dramaturgy is the dream: losing the ability to dream means killing a part of oneself. I Would Like a Voice is dedicated to those who have lost the ability to do so.
