The Magnificent Community is located in its Palace, a historic building in Cavalese, which houses the art gallery, museum, and archive of manuscripts, statutes, and documents that are crucial to the ancient history of Fiemme. The building of the Magnificent Community of Fiemme was commissioned in the Middle Ages by the Prince-Bishops of Trento as the residence of their great Vicars and summer residence. Originating from the 14th century, the palace became the seat of the Magnificent Community of Fiemme in 1850. The extensive restoration work that the building underwent has restored the palace to its former splendor.
