A simple itinerary in the historic center of Carano to discover some suggestive and hidden views, in search of the works of the painter Camillo Rasmo
Camillo Rasmo (1876-1965) was a painter originally from Cavalese, trained in several prestigious European academies, including Venice, Florence, Munich, and Rome.
He studied with masters such as Azbè and Seitz, learning innovative techniques like pointillism and being influenced by Jugendstil and Secession.
During World War I, he worked as a Red Cross nurse but continued to paint, documenting the devastation of war.
After the war, he taught drawing in Trento until 1947.
Reserved and introverted, he avoided solo exhibitions, preferring a small circle of friends.
He died in Trento in 1965 and was buried in Carano, as per his wish.
