Val di Fiemme, the cradle of Nordic skiing, is ready to write a new, unforgettable page in its history: it will be the star of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The cross-country skiing stadium in Lago di Tesero and the ski jumping stadium in Predazzo will host the cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping competitions, as well as the thrilling Paralympic cross-country skiing and biathlon events. The entire Val di Fiemme is ready to welcome the world with the warmth of its people and the authentic beauty of its mountains.

Skiing during the Olympics

By day on the summit, by night in the villages amid the sounds, lights, and flavors of the Olympic Games.

During the Winter Olympics, Val di Fiemme will continue to welcome alpine skiing enthusiasts with perfectly groomed slopes and active services. Here you will find all the information you need to plan your skiing days in Val di Fiemme.

  • All slopes in the Val di Fiemme Obereggen ski area and all mountain huts will remain open during the Olympic period.
  • To ski in the Latemar Dolomites, access from February 2 to 20, 2026, will be guaranteed exclusively from Obereggen and Pampeago.
  • Supplementary transport for the Latemar lift:
    • From December 5, 2025, until February 1, 2026, the Predazzo Latemar car parks will be partially occupied; an additional car park will be created at Mezzavalle with a dedicated shuttle service to the Latemar lift.
    • From February 2 to 20, 2026, an additional Predazzo – Pampeago ski bus line will be provided for skiers; the Ziano – Predazzo – Bellamonte Alpe Lusia line will remain active.
    • The Predazzo train will NO longer be in operation but will be replaced by an 80-passenger urban vehicle (route: Ziano – Latemar – Predazzo – Bellamonte Alpe Lusia).
