Panoramic ring route in the Monte Corno Nature Park among rich, varied, and lush nature.
At the end of Val di Fiemme, this simple hike is doable in all seasons. The route, even at low altitude, offers stunning panoramas and is ideal also in the shoulder seasons, when snow or ice is present in the high mountains.
We are in the Monte Corno Nature Park, a small park of just over 6800 hectares, but extremely rich in vegetation, bird species, and wild animals.

THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is strictly related to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before you leave, check the condition of the route by contacting the refuge managers on your path, alpine guides, nature park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
Parked at the entrance of the village, you immediately encounter the signs for Malga Cislon and start along the path that passes behind the built-up area. You reach the paved road that climbs from the center of the village and continue on a steep paved ascent. From here there are 2 options: continue along the road or take the path on the left that crosses a lovely forest of Scots pines. The path emerges in a meadow and, after a short climb, rejoins the dirt road. After a few more minutes you reach Malga Cislon, nestled in a large meadow with a pond offering a wide panorama of the Brenta Dolomites, the Roen mountains, and Penegal. The road then continues through the lush forest: in some spots, the vegetation opens up to unexpected views that, like windows, overlook the Lower Adige Valley and Lake Caldaro.
You continue upwards crossing a larch forest until you arrive at a wooden shrine with a crucifix. From here you can see in the distance the peaks of Corno Bianco and Corno Nero and part of the Lagorai range.
The road then descends steeply and, after the cobblestone section, you reach the starting point.
The ring route presented here has several variants on forest paths that shorten the road. It is recommended to follow the local signage.
