The proposed itinerary, in its brevity, introduces us to various aspects characterizing this part of Valle di Cembra.

The route on one side shows the natural aspect with Lakes Lases and Santa Colomba and beautiful coniferous forests, while on the other it reveals the main activity of the area: the extraction and processing of red porphyry.

Starting point
Lake Lases
Directions

From Lake Lases towards Lases, once in the settlement, take the first road on the right towards the Buche di Ghiaccio biotope which shortly leads to a forest road crossing the short Val Scura. At the Val Scura junction, continue straight on asphalt heading north until joining the provincial road, then proceed towards the village of Albiano. Upon reaching Albiano, before the square, take a left road leading to a short and steep path that reaches the locality of Spiazzi. From there, crossing the Pian Fogolar porphyry extraction area, continue on an asphalt road, at times steep, towards Lake Santa Colomba, in the heart of the Argentario Ecomuseum in one of the medieval galena silver mining areas. Upon arriving at the lake (refreshment facilities available), follow the numerous signs and along a dirt path skirt the north shore of the lake, entering the woods towards Doss dei Brusadi (trail 473), then descend towards the Pian del Gacc locality on a nice path offering a partly technical descent due to numerous stones and roots. After rejoining the asphalt road and passing Pian del Gacc, descend towards Fornace until near a hairpin bend, where you enter the quarries heading to Doss del Vent, the point where the descent begins towards the lower Lake Lases, where the route ends.
