THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is strictly linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet might have changed. Before departing, inquire about the route status by contacting the managers of the refuges on your path, alpine guides, nature park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
From Pampeago, ascend with the Agnello chairlift (check opening and schedules at www.latemar.it) and take the left fork on the path towards Rifugio In.Treska. Along this route, you can hear the sound of hail and thunder, or discover guided by the marmot Marmottix how an avalanche forms. The route continues left along path no. 515 which crosses a section of the Geotrail Dos Capèl, where once there were seas, shells, and atolls. Reaching Passo Feudo, continue up to the homonymous refuge, located at an excellent panoramic point. This last stretch of ascent can be avoided by taking path no. 504 to the left.
For those who reached Rifugio Passo Feudo, take the road (ski slope) descending towards the top station of the Latemar chairlift, which returns you to the starting point.
Two panoramic platforms (in locality Tresca and at Passo Feudo) allow you to learn the names of the surrounding peaks.
The Pampeago lift facilities are reachable by public buses from Tesero.
From Cavalese and Predazzo head towards Tesero and take the road to Stava and Pampeago.
Numerous parking lots near the lift facilities.
Windbreaker jacket, hiking boots, hat, and sunscreen.
Not suitable for strollers, we recommend using a child carrier backpack.
