An event rich in spectacle, culture, music, food and wine, history and tradition, capable of animating every corner of the village with joy, authentic flavors, and lots of passion.
From the morning, the picturesque portico hosts artistic and cultural activities: inauguration of the “Miniature Carts” exhibition created by the children of the elementary school of Giovo, animated readings under the vine with Ornela Marcon, and the irresistible installation “Bottles in Ferment” – artistic tables to toast and socialize.
As evening falls, starting at 8:00 PM, the food and wine stands light up, along with two tasting dinners with local producers (Klinger Winery and Vetrina 1958). Following is the opening of the “Vase of Fortune” and the first shift of the Escape Village, the enchanting interactive maze in the heart of the village. The day starts energized: at 8:30 AM, “Walking Along the Suspended Lands” begins, followed by a hill climb cycling competition and an enticing pasta party for participants. In the historic center, roaming workshops for children, martial arts shows, acrobatics, juggling with Wa Tao and Michele Meneghini, while the stands and exhibitions animate every alleyway.
Evening lights up with folkloric shows, dances, DJ set, the Tyrolean music of the Schützen, and the rock show “The Roads of Max – 883 Tribute.” At 9:30 PM, the traditional challenge of the Palio dei Ceveri begins: a race where participants crush as much grapes as possible to fill a container. At 10:00 PM, immediately after, the fun relay of the Palio dei Congiai, with the themed carts transporting water using farming tools.
The day begins with the scent of dawn: at 7:30 AM, everyone wakes up with a communal breakfast. At 9:00 AM, the 36th Grape March starts, a non-competitive walk among the terraces, villages, farms, and scenic vineyards.
Meanwhile, stands, exhibitions, craft stalls, and “the Vase of Fortune” enrich the festival. At 10:00 AM, music resumes with accordions and entertainment. At 12:30 PM, the March is awarded.
In the afternoon, at 2:30 PM, the 68th Parade of the Floats kicks off, an explosion of imagination, colors, and creativity that transforms the village into an open-air theater. At 6:30 PM, the miniature float creators (made by children) are awarded, and at 7:00 PM, the best floats from the parade are honored. The evening continues with music and DJ set until late at night.
Throughout the duration of the festival, the Central Village offers local menus, traditional dishes, wines, sparkling wines, desserts, and Trentino flavors.
