Carlobianchi and Doriano (Sergio Romano and Pierpaolo Capovilla) are two friends who have passed fifty but still feel like teenagers, stubbornly clinging to an eternal adolescence.
Their life consists of drinks and endless nights where they inevitably stay up late, chasing blurred dreams. Without a penny and without a specific target, they have only one sacred ritual: the last round from one bar to another, as if in the bottom of a glass they could still find meaning. During one of these off nights, they happen to cross paths with Giulio (Filippo Scotti), a kind-hearted architecture student with a dreamy gaze.
What was supposed to be just a bizarre encounter turns into a surreal journey through the barren vastness of the Veneto plains, among deserted roundabouts, neon lights, and silences interrupted by the roar of the engine. On board a beaten-up car and with two unlikely companions at his side, Giulio finds himself discovering another way of looking at the world, love, and his future. A melancholic and ironic road movie that moves at the slow pace of a hangover that passes, leaving the bittersweet aftertaste of truth.
