Mattia (Javier Francesco Leoni) is a child who, at just eleven years old, has had to face a reality very different from that of his peers.
The relationship between Mattia and his father Paolo (Edoardo Leo), just over forty, is very special. The man has slowly begun to lose fragments of his memory due to a neuro-degenerative disease. Despite his vulnerability and the uncertainty about the future, Paolo still chooses to stay close to what truly matters in his life: the love for his family.
Beside him is his wife Michela (Teresa Saponangelo), a silent but fundamental presence, and their son Mattia, who, with extraordinary maturity, becomes his guide, his support, and a companion in life. Through small gestures and daily attentions, gentle caresses, laughter, and silences that speak more than words, we follow a story that, while telling of loss, is a hymn to presence and the beauty of being next to those we love, even when everything around seems to fade.
A celebration of love as a force capable of opposing time, oblivion, and fragility. A film that reminds us that even in the most difficult moments, affection and sharing can represent a powerful light, capable of keeping a family united.
