Stunning in winter, with the snow cover blanketing the pastures, the tall larch trees, the huts, equally charming in summer, for its green grassy expanses, in the presence of the Lagorai Mountain Range and the Pale di San Martino, Malga Canvere is an ideal setting to host an artist coming from afar, indeed, from one of the most "remote" places on the planet, at least in our imagination: Alaska. Quinn Christopherson is a singer-songwriter from Anchorage, the youngest of four children of Native parents. Since childhood, he has been telling stories in poetry, but it was when he turned 20 that he discovered music, thanks to a guitar given to him by his father. With this instrument, he brought his ethereal and dreamy melodies to various venues and bars, building a long collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Carpenter, his bandmate. In 2022, he recorded Write Your Name in Pink, retracing his life experiences among family, friends, neighborhood, growth, and the definition of an identity, including gender.
