“Olympic and sports marvels. From Garmisch 1936 to Fiemme 2013” an exhibition curated by Giuseppe Brigadoi, Silvano Morandini, Rufin Schulliam, Mariano Lollo, Luciano Dassala.
A journey through time that unites memory, territory, and shared values: stories of sports, the Olympics, people, and communities that have made their mark.
The role of collecting is very important for the preservation and promotion of the history and culture of sports. On the occasion of the year of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, the space at Villa Flora opens its activities with a temporary exhibition centered on "Olympic and sporting wonders."
The path offers a journey through the Winter Games of Garmisch in 1936 and the World Championships of 2013, hosted in Val di Fiemme for the third time, presenting a mix of Olympic stories intertwined with the great sporting tradition that has characterized this territory and these communities.
The exhibition is realized in collaboration with UICOS Italian Union of Olympic and Sports Collectors, AICO International Association of Olympic Collectors, the Historical Museum of the Alpine School of Predazzo, and the Historical Museum of the Guardia di Finanza.
