A bizarre creative experiment of free composition and monotype printing starting from the illustrated book ALDA by Alessia Carli dedicated to the poetess Alda Merini. A handful of rebellious and stormy words leave the pages of the book and decompose and recombine between the hands and thoughts of children in a collective game of transformations where conscious choice and chance alternate, the words blend, change shape and sound, and give rise to new, unexpected, wacky, and dreamy poetic images.
Isa Nebl lives and works in Cles, where she alternates her work as a painter and illustrator with that of an atelierista, taking care of the creative workshops at the Batibōi Gallery. She graduated in applied arts and specialized at the International School of Engraving and Lithography Il Bisonte in Florence. She loves to invent dreamlike and enigmatic characters that she creates through screen printing and a mixed technique of acrylic painting and collage.
The workshop is curated by Neanche Per Sogno and Sorgente '90. It is part of the Neanche Per Sogno Vol.3 exhibition, in collaboration with Kohlhaas Records, Le Garage Lab, Libreria Clandestina, La Coccinella, Biblioteca Comunale di Cembra Lisignago and Biblioteca Comunale di Giovo, and is realized with the support of PGZ Valle di Cembra.
