Six hikes, organized by the Ecomuseum Argnetario and the Val di Cembra Reserve Network to explore the historical and natural heritage while walking along the Masen-Faedo mining trail.
The Canopy Trail is a fascinating hiking path dedicated to the medieval miners who searched for copper and silver among these hills (Masen-Faedo area). The name “canòpi” comes from the ancient German term Bergknappen and refers to the miners from regions with a long mining tradition, such as present-day Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
The Canopy Trail is an easy walk, suitable for everyone, including families with children, to discover the historical and natural heritage of the area while walking. It runs in the locality of Masén, in the municipality of Faedo, along the path of a real mining trail.
