St. Peter's Church is a hidden gem located in the heart of Cembra.
This ancient church with late-medieval foundations boasts a cycle of frescoes reproducing the life of Christ (XVI century) and a splendid painting of the Universal Judgement (XVIII century) by Valentino Rovisi, of the Tiepolo school. Near the presbytery, where there is a holy arch, you will find the remains of a rare memorial cell, a urn in stone and masonry designed to contain the relics of the patron saint.
