THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to contingent conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before leaving, check the condition of the route by contacting the shelter manager on your route, mountain guides, park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
Arriving from Cavalese, the starting point of the route is located in the lay-by on the left of the provincial road, at the entrance of the Tesero tunnel. The first 100 meters of trail run along the road before climbing and immersing into a small hazelnut grove. The well-marked route leads to the first point of interest: the Lucianella lookout tower. After admiring the panorama, go down the stairs and continue along the flat path dedicated to "Arturo Deleonardi." The story of this Cavalese notary is embedded in the rock before the climbing crag. At the end of the path, you reach a cobbled street from which a staircase leads to the highest point of the walk, the Pagoda. Ignore the signs "Passeggiata degli Alpini" and "Strada del Fen" and proceed north, crossing a wooden bridge and a charming pine forest until reaching Via Valle on the descent.
Always following the signage, you face the last climb of the walk, reaching the Coronelle area, where a romantic bench invites you to take a break. The descent towards the town of Cavalese along the well-marked trail leads to Via Matteotti and concludes the walk in the central Piazza Dante, in front of the Church of San Vigilio.
It is possible to reach Cavalese with Trentino Trasporti buses from all the valley's villages.
From the center of Cavalese, head towards Tesero.
