The unexpected panoramic "balcony" over Val di Fiemme.

We are in the Monte Corno Natural Park, on the border with Val di Fiemme, in an environment mainly characterized by deciduous and red spruces forests.

The excursion, without particular difficulties, is characterized by the length of the forest road that leads to Malga Monte Corno, and culminates in an impressive view of Val di Fiemme: the view ranges from Pale di San Martino to Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, up to Lake Caldaro (visible from one of the last bends on the forest road before reaching the hut).

Anterivo

Directions

From the village of Anterivo follow directions for the Hotel Waldheim where parking is available.

Continue along the forest road among larches and firs following trail No 3 markers to the Malga Monte Corno (Alpine dairy), offering a generous view over Val di Fiemme and its mountains.

For those who have time, the Lago Nero (Lake) is not far from the hut and is worth a visit.

Return back on the same way.

How to get there

From Cavalese drive the road SS48 direction Ora. When you reach the village of San Lugano follow the indication to Anterivo on your left side.
