Short walk nearby the old centre of the village with a view on the hamlets that compose the municipality of Ville di Fiemme.
This walk crosses the sunny meadows of Varena on a well-paved road. You can live this experience at dawn, during the day – a perfect time to watch the view sitting on one of the benches – or at dusk to enjoy the colours of the sunset. If you take this ring route at night, you will be captivated by the millions of stars and by the full moon shining in the sky that lighten the snowy peaks of Catena del Lagorai thanks to the innovative ground-level lighting.
Pay attention: this road is not congested, but vehicles are allowed.

From the main parking area, walk towards Hotel Alla Rocca and turn right to the flat Via Borgonuovo leading to the tennis courts. At the crossing of three roads, take the central and flat one that runs near the soccer field then keep walking on Via Borgonuovo leaving the last houses behind. The road continues almost flat until you reach two lonely houses located on a hairpin turn. Keep walking until the crossing on the paved road that goes down among the meadows. Once reached the bench at a crossing with two other roads, take a U-turn on the right to stay on the flat road and, at the next crossing, go ahead until the graveyard. At the crossroad, take the uphill road and, 100 meters after the church, take Via Longo on the right, another road that winds up among the historic houses of Varena that leads to the supermarket and to the starting point of this walk.
