The Blessed Meneghina is a very important figure for the town of Capriana and for the Fiemme Valley. In 1833, while she was working in the fields, she saw the Madonna for the first time. After that episode, she had other apparitions. In Capriana, you will find several places and structures, both civil and religious, that commemorate Domenica Lazzeri known as Meneghina, including the Meneghina mill located in the Rio Bianco valley, between Capriana and Carbonare, which is the place where both the blessed and her family worked.
