The Cantucci di Pace will be distributed by volunteers in a 250-gram package.
In war contexts pregnancy becomes a high-risk factor. The destruction of healthcare systems, forced displacement, malnutrition, lack of drinking water, and ongoing instability increase the risk of complications and often make it impossible to access essential prenatal and postnatal care. In these contexts, treatable diseases become potentially lethal. In Afghanistan, at the Anabah maternity center run by EMERGENCY, over 80% of the monitored pregnancies are today considered high risk. And so it is in Sudan. In Gaza, about 50,000 pregnant women currently live in a healthcare system that is now almost completely destroyed.

Along with the cantucci, the bracelet of the R1PUD1A campaign will be offered, with which Emergency reaffirms the repudiation of war stated in Article 11 of the Italian Constitution.
