The Macelleria Paolazzi butcher’s shop was founded in 1946 by our grandfather, Paolo Paolazzi.

Setting up a business right after the Second World War was a gamble. Paolo had to juggle agricultural labour and the work at his new butcher’s shop. Unsurprisingly, the opening hours were just a few.
Our grandfather used to personally handpick the animals to slaughter and then sell the meat in his shop.

When the shop was handed down to our father Fernando, he decided to branch out into seasoned and cured meat, even though he lacked specific expertise.

Our family business can now count on the help of Fernando and Nives’s son and daughters (Monica, Martina and Tito), who started working at the shop as soon as they finished their studies.
