In 1957, in Faver, our father Vincenzo set up a new business by creating a distillery.
In the first stages it was hard, we didn’t have the technical know-how, but the company turned around and started growing.
The tricks of the trade have been handed down to Vincenzo’s sons, Bruno and Ivano, both wine experts, who now run the family business with passion and professionalism.
After a few years, the brothers decided to move the distillery to a place called Portegnac, at the foot of a mountain rich in water and springs. This area was believed to be sacred by ancient local communities. It is in this very place where the distillery still operates nowadays.
The distillery belongs to the Cembrani D.O.C. consortium.
